First’s first, contextual pressure is one thing.
Self ridicule, unrealistic expecetations and comparisons to others in different dynamics is another kind of pressure, an unreleastic helpful kind.
The notion of improving one’s health and fitness is often accompanied with pressures that create miss-alignment from the pressure to ‘be perfect’ and/or a lack of goal setting.
When you are at a different place in the momentum, consistency and know-how of somebody who has different present outcomes to you and that what you desire, yet you expect the same results…that creates a massive feeling of frustration and an unattainable psychological pathway forwards.
In truth the person that is where you want to be health and fitness wise, started somewhere, using the very principles that will work for you. The same principles WILL WORK for you.
Taking away that external comparison to others will set you free and will help you focus more so on your specific achievements.
The things that elicit change and growth are the same for me, you and anybody on this planet regarding health and fitness.
Yep, logistics can be different, preferences, accessibility etc, but the principles ARE THE SAME.
The key is to work on that sustainable health care schedule of yours, reducing the amount of wobbles, recovery speed after wobbles, being consistent with the little things, and using you and yourself for your progressive measurement markers all the while learning how to consistently move forwards.
CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL… 😉
Trying to be ‘perfect‘ when learning new skill set/habit, will only trip you up, you learn by not being ‘perfect’.
Do the development.
