The best kind of motivation comes from within.

Sometimes that means doing things when you don’t want to do it, that’s what consistency is.

It isn’t always about skipping around all enthusiastic with unicorns and rainbows, motivation does not last, neither does personal hygiene, that’s why we have to wash daily.

How far do your thoughts take you?

What does your self-reflection highlight for you and your self-care?

Do you have a higher motive to stay up late, eat processed foods, watch TV and make excuses instead of getting enough rest, nourishing your body properly, strengthening your body through exercise and implementing balance to your life.

Yes, balance still means, junk food, alcohol, TV and other little ‘devil’ things, but, for health, the principles for health must come first and maintaining a discipline with that unguarded cookie jar, so to speak.

The examples in this video may not specifically relate to you, however, if you find yourself demotivated, inconsistent and/or inactive, what is your underlying thoughts that are demotivating you?

As much as Sarah and Simon feature in this example of the vid, I have to take the opportunity to praise everybody who I am lucky enough to work with. COVID-19, rain, heat. various locations, online offline…everybody has shown up, and contributed to their health and fitness in one of the toughest logistical, psychological times we’ve known.

How?

Motivation.
