Reality is our experience as we know it.

What if we as people are running the same patterns, routines and habits as we know it, without striving for development…ultimately stagnating?

What if our perception of reality is not as well rounded as we know it? If we are able to identify an area for development and learn, what does that look like?

As individuals, to development, it’s crucial to be aware of this notion.

How well do you know about physiology, biomechanics, anatomy and training methods to improve your exercise regime?

How well do you know about the bodies functional systems and what nutritional components they need for optimal functioning?

How much do you know about mindset, psychology of self development, application, rest, recovery, the importance of sleep and the impact that all of the previous can have on our physical and mental health?

Pause…..This isn’t a ‘I know something and you don’t’, the principles apply to everything. I know sod all with marathon training, if I wanted to, I’d have to open to the notion that I need to develop because my reality of marathon training at the moment is limited. But my perception is as it is, all I know is that, of course there’s more for me to learn in that subject. To get better, I’d have to source the appropriate help.

Rather, this is a perspective of ‘what if?, to increase your experience of health, happiness and confidence through the vehicle of fitness and health.

We can all learn and develop, especially with our most valuable asset (health), it’s essentially our duty of self-care.

If you are yoyo’ing, following a ‘diet’, stuck in boring exercise regimes and/or still reaching for change and wanting more. There is a chance that your reality of health and fitness as you know it isn’t as comprehensive as it needs to be to achieve long lasting sustainable results without, rules, restriction and…’diets’.

But that’s ok, you can seek the appropriate source and learn.

Bosh!
