Yeah, it’s called the ‘Don’t believe everything you hear diet’.

Now that I have your attention.

The wheel is already invented.

(Lesson number 1, don’t get sucked in by BS)

Nature has already taken care of that.

The only time new diets are made is when somebody wants to exploit people to make money with little care to the person’s actual health and/or wellbeing.

If it was legit, there’d actually be a coaching process without pressure and guilt (do ‘sins’ ring a bell?).

The sweet spot for that lot, is to provide just enough info (sins, free foods, too much food = weight, eat less lose more, fats are bad, eat as much pasta as you like, blah blah blah) which creates plain ol’ fashioned energy deficit and guess what, the human body adapts and shifts weight…what a magical diet? EEEEEERRRGH!

This isn’t always good, losing weight through just eating less doesn’t cut the mustard for optimal health and/or optimum results, of course, quantity matters, but so does selection and quality.

The thing to shift, is body fat, this healthy weight loss, one of muscle preservation, one that maintains a healthy metabolism, and one that makes energy/vitality.

And that takes more knowledge than energy in energy out.

Have you ever heard of the saying ‘A little knowledge is a dangerous thing?’

A small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking they are experts.

‘Well, my friend lost loads of weight on that diet’…

‘I lost weight the last time I did it’…

‘I know what to do, I just need to do it’…

If you are not making the consistent results that you would like to without disillusioning yourself, that points to two things:

  • Your psychology needs to develop towards the system of managing your diet.
  • Your system (info, planning, application) isn’t giving your body the nutrients it needs and/or the energy (under-eating is a thing by the way and it’s BAD for health).

My best advice is this:

  • Stop searching for a fast solution.
  • Stop looking at diets.
  • Stop thinking that the body/mind transformation is only reserved for the genetically lucky.
  • Focus on developing your knowledge around fueling the human body in relation to your lifestyle.
  • PLEASE god oh god stop comparing to people on Instagram, the majority of it is actually from a false reality.

Doctor Paul has spoken haha.

There are no shortcuts folks, there are laws and principles to abide by, this doesn’t mean a rigid boring life of restriction.

It means learning and putting your stamp on your best diet for you within the process of practice and growth.

If you can learn how to use the latest phone and/or make time to watch Netflix, you can definitely learn how to and make time to fuel your body for a better, healthier life with stable healthy weight management, energy, confidence, and self-esteem.
