What happens when motivation runs out? (you make some more)

…I shall approach this from a different dynamic.

Motivation only runs out if you LET IT.

If there’s a hole in the boat, you fix it.

More often than not, we can feel de-motivated because we are giving thought and power to things that don’t empower us through some kind of limiting belief.

Motivation doesn’t always last, nor does bathing, that’s why it’s recommended daily.

Motivation is the same.

The work you do on yourself DAILY is your constant motivation source.

This is a great image that represents that notion…

Motivation isn't some magic pixy dust you sprinkle over your head that males you feel great, fuzzy, and excited to skip off and do everything all chirpy and bouncy...

It's how you manage your state, your performance in relation to your goals, your focus, your reasons, your whys.

We are always motivated, it just depends on where the focus is...

Are more motivated to make excuses, procrastinate, and blame circumstances instead of taking ownership and doing what has to be done?

Sometimes that means just gritting your teeth and just doing it.

Doing it.

Doing it.

Doing it.

Doing it.

Doing it.

Not 'trying'...doing.

Sometimes with a smile, sometimes with a grunt.

But the most important thing of all...

Doing it.

Quitters never win and winners never quit!

You must motivate yourself daily, believe in yourself daily in order to keep those daily actions consistent, to keep overcoming challenges....because they are coming.

Being realistic with your self-care plan is to expect that troubling times can occur at any given time and that you can deal with it and keep consistent, that's not to give attention to create them, but life will just throw them our way, so we must be prepared not to plunge into a pit of self-doubt and procrastination...That preparation is your performance for yourself, how you show up, how you execute, how you manage your mindset, controlling what you can control.

People break momentum when challenges evoke negative thoughts that lead to procrastination, usually a low motive from low belief...that argument, the person at work, insurance issues, whatever the issue, is it more important than your happiness and health? and does that mean you believe less when tough times happen?

Are you anchoring to the thoughts of fear, doubt, and/or insecurity?

Or the thoughts of success, positive projection, excitement, and progress?

Lastly, the notion of lost motivation, 'no mojo' is only a thought and nothing else...As fast as you feel like you 'can lose it', you can GAIN it back instantly through your actions.

I always say, no matter how low we feel or whatever happens to us, we must do what we must do to improve our health and fitness because at that level we are ALWAYS WINNING and in a place of permanent strength and control, regardless of what's going on around us...and any situation is made harder and worse and more depressing when we feel crap from our own poor self-care standards, when we are tired from poor sleep, lethargic from poor nutrition lack of exercise, negative thoughts through rounded posture from excessive sitting. NO!

Our minimum standard is to look after our well-being, we all must maintain that.

Your self-care is the nucleus of everything in your life.

Nothing outways our inner peace and our ability to control our own happiness, validation, confidence, and habits.

Do you, be strong, control what you can control, compare yourself to yourself, and focus on the 1% better each day philosophy.

Very best,
