Our reality is our reality, our experience, we have the facts of what we know, the knowledge, application and know how of what we know.
What if there is more to what we know to give us a better outcome?…Dare I say it, one that can change your life..Forever.
With health and fitness? For the majority? There is. Trust me.
The four stages of learning:
1. Unconscious Incompetence – You don’t know what you don’t know. The learning process has not even began.
2. Conscious Competence – You have started the process of learning but realise just how much you don’t actually know.
3. Conscious Competence – You know what you are doing but you have to think about what you are doing as well as/or referring to materials for familiarity.
4. Unconscious Competence – You are a bad arse automated robot 🤣 Things are second nature, you do them naturally.
Step 4 is what we all want with health and fitness, at least the majority in 4, maybe 1 or 2 elements in 3.
If you have knowledge of:
👊🏻 Correct training methods.
👊🏻 Biomechanics for injury prevention.
👊🏻 How to train in context to you..not society.
👊🏻 How to truly nourish yourself properly based on anatomy, physiology and genes.
👊🏻 How to psychologically and physically keep yourself moving forwards regardless of the hurdles.
👊🏻 To not beat yourself up and fall victim to short term ‘satisfaction’ over long term results.
👊🏻 How to really value your health through your actions.
If you are good, you are good, if you you’re not, you’re not.., help may be required, but that’s ok. That’s the learning process.
I mean I have been in this industry for years and I’m not a 4 for all of these, I’m still learning.
The secret? Identification of gaps to fill, and the right system to fill them.
